Prayer text
YHWH, Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, the Ever-Living One, the Self-Subsisting One, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad, my Lord and my God, give me today and every day the ability to be a cause of my own good, happiness, wealth, joy, gladness, strength, glory, health, and love, and also of good for another person. Ehyeh, You are great, my God. I did not produce everything I have on my own. Thank You for everything that has reached me so far. Make everything that comes to me always good for me and for those around me, with constant happiness, positivity, and joy.
As the deer longs for streams of water, so my soul longs for You, YHWH, O Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, O Ever-Living One, O Self-Subsisting One, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, O Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, O HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad. My soul thirsts for YHWH, Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, for the Ever-Living, Self-Subsisting God, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad. When shall I come and appear before YHWH, Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, the Ever-Living One, the Self-Subsisting One, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad? My tears have become my bread day and night, as I am asked every day, “Where is your God?” These things I remember as I pour out my soul within me: how I used to pass with the congregation, proceeding with them to the house of YHWH, Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, the Ever-Living One, the Self-Subsisting One, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad, with the sound of singing and thanksgiving, a crowd celebrating a festival. Why are you bowed down, my soul, and why do you groan within me? Hope in YHWH, Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, the Ever-Living One, the Self-Subsisting One, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad, for I shall yet praise Him for the salvation of His countenance.
May YHWH, Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, the Ever-Living One, the Self-Subsisting One, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad, be gracious—may He be gracious to us and bless us. May He shine His face upon us, so that Your way may be known on earth, and Your salvation among all nations.
Pote’ach et yadekha, umasbi’a lekhol chai ratzon. “You open Your hand and satisfy every living being with favor.” Ribbono shel olam, shelach berakhah vehatzlachah bema’aseh yadai, ufarneseni bekhavod uvehetter. “YHWH, O Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, O Ever-Living One, O Self-Subsisting One, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, O Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, O HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad, O Lord of the world, send blessing and success into all the work of my hands, and provide for me with dignity and through lawful/permitted means.” (Meditate for two minutes: What blessing do I have that I had not considered a blessing? Try to offer a simple act of help to someone.)
