Shema Yisrael, YHWH Adonai Eloheinu, YHWH Adonai Echad. (Then in a low voice:) Barukh shem kevod malkhuto le’olam va’ed. — Hear, O Israel: YHWH, Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad, is “the Lord our God”; YHWH, Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, the Lord, is “One.”
Ve’ahavta et YHWH Adonai Elohekha, bekhol levavkha, uvekhol nafshekha, uvekhol me’odekha.
And love YHWH, Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad, the Lord your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
YHWH, Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, HaShem, O Ever-Living One, O Self-Subsisting One, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, O Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad, O my God, gather my heart after its scattering. Teach me not to worship my fear, my money, or my success. I want to know You Yourself, not merely what I can receive from You.
YHWH, Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad, is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? YHWH, Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad, is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When evildoers drew near to devour my flesh—my oppressors and enemies—they stumbled and fell. Though an army encamp against me, my heart will not fear. Though war arise against me, even then I remain confident. One thing I have asked of YHWH, Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad, and this I seek: to dwell in the house of YHWH, Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad, YHWH, all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of YHWH, Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad, and contemplate His temple. For He hides me in His shelter on the day of trouble; He conceals me in the cover of His tent; He lifts me high upon a rock. Now my head rises above my enemies around me, and I offer sacrifices of joyful shouting in His tent. I sing and make music to YHWH, Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, to the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, to Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad. Listen, O my God, YHWH, Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, O Ever-Living One, O Self-Subsisting One, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, O Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, O HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad. With my voice I call; have mercy on me and answer me. To You my heart said, “Seek My face.” Your face, O YHWH, Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, O Ever-Living One, O Self-Subsisting One, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, O HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad—I seek Your face. Do not hide Your face from me; do not turn Your servant away in anger. You have been my help; do not reject me or forsake me, O God of my salvation, great YHWH.
From the depths I cried out to You, O Lord. O Lord, O YHWH, O Adonai, Eloheinu, Elohim, O Ever-Living One, O Self-Subsisting One, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, O Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, O HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad, YHWH, hear my voice. Let Your ears attend to the sound of my supplications. (Then enter into quiet, meditation, and receptivity for five minutes.)
