Prayer text
Ki Hu ha-noten lekha koach la’asot chayil. ‘He is the One who gives you the strength to create success.’
Ask sincerely for what I need, then:
My God, YHWH, I have come to You, my Lord, during these days as I am: with my fear, my mistakes, my ambition, my desires, and my questions. I want You, and I also want goodness, provision, and well-being for myself in this life and in every life, and I do not hide that from You. YHWH, I ask for health, strength, energy, love, happiness, provision, money, wealth, success, peace, riches, profits, acceptance, dominion, and authority for myself, with every positivity, with ease, facility, comfort, joy, happiness, and delight, always with every positivity. But do not let my desire for Your gifts make me forget the Giver. Set right for me my heart, my mind, my body, my work, my companies, my partnerships, and my life; set right for me my wife; set right for me myself, my body, and my health; set right for me all my affairs; and set right for me my whole life, my Lord. YHWH, my God, place all creatures and all people at my service, to obey me and always do good for me. My Lord, YHWH, open before me the doors of goodness through which I can walk, help me with them, and help me in all my affairs. Give me insight to distinguish opportunity from illusion, and goodness from what merely appears good. Make me more just, merciful, and truthful. Give me the strength to act in the world instead of waiting for the world to change on its own. YHWH Adonai Eloheinu Elohim, the Ever-Living, Self-Subsisting One, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad: I have strayed from the path, so bring me back to it. — Hineni. Here I am.
O YHWH Adonai Eloheinu Elohim, the Ever-Living, Self-Subsisting One, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, O HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad, the Lord is my shepherd; I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside restful waters. He restores my soul. He guides me along paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even when I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me. Your rod and Your staff comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of those who trouble me. You have anointed my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of YHWH Adonai Eloheinu Elohim, the Ever-Living, Self-Subsisting One, Possessor of Majesty and Honor, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad, forever. Amen.
Pote’ach et yadekha, umasbi’a lekhol chai ratzon. ‘You open Your hand and satisfy every living being with favor.’ Ribbono shel olam, shelach berakhah vehatzlachah bema’aseh yadai, ufarneseni bekhavod uvehetter.
‘May the favor of the Lord our God be upon us; establish the work of our hands for us; establish the work of our hands.’ ‘O YHWH, O Adonai Eloheinu Elohim, O Ever-Living One, O Self-Subsisting One, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, O Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, O HaShem, Shaddai, El Chai, Echad, establish and bless all the work I do, and let blessing flow through all my work and my whole life, without injustice or corruption.’ My Lord, YHWH, bless me and bless my whole life, and bless my provision, my entire livelihood, my health, and my family, forever and always. Amen.
