The Supreme Invoking Ritual of the Pentagram

First direction: South

• Turn toward the south (or move around to that side if you have an altar).

• Draw the invoking pentagram of active Spirit, as shown in the illustration.

• As you do so, vibrate the following Enochian pronunciation:

BITOM (pronounced “beh-ee-toh-em”).

Then draw the circle of Spirit inside the star while pronouncing the name

EHEIEH

Give the L-V-X signs, whispering “L-V-X” as you do so.

• Draw the invoking pentagram of Fire in red light while vibrating the following Enochian pronunciation:

OIP TEAA PDOCE

(pronounced “oh-ee-beh”, “teh-ah”, and “beh-doh-keh”)

Draw the sign of Leo in green light while vibrating:

ELOHIM

• Give the “Philosophus” sign, forming an upward-pointing triangle with the hands, while vibrating and saying:

“YHVH TZABAOTH. Elohim, blessed are You. Leader of Hosts is Your name. Amen.”

Second direction: West

Turn toward the west and draw the invoking pentagram of passive Spirit in white light.

While vibrating:

HCOMA

(pronounced “hay-koh-mah”)

• Draw the symbol of Spirit while vibrating:

AGLA

• Give the L-V-X signs,

then draw the invoking pentagram of Water in blue light

while reciting and vibrating:

MPH ARSL GAIOL

(pronounced “em-beh-hah ar-sehil gah-ee-oh-el”)

• Draw the eagle symbol while vibrating:

EL

• Give the “Practicus” sign, making a downward-pointing triangle with the hands, while vibrating and saying:

“ELOHIM TZABAOTH. El. God of Hosts. Glory to the divine Spirit that moved upon the face of the waters of creation. Amen.”

Third direction: East

Turn toward the east and draw the invoking pentagram of active Spirit in white light.

While vibrating:

EXARP

(pronounced “eks-ar-beh”)

• Draw the symbol of Spirit in the center of the pentagram while vibrating:

EHEIEH

• Give the L-V-X signs,

then draw the invoking pentagram of Air in yellow light

while reciting and vibrating:

ORO IBAH AOZPI

(pronounced “oh-roh”, “ee-bah-hah”, “ah-oh-zod-bee”)

• Draw the sign of Aquarius in violet light while vibrating:

YHVH

• Give the “Theoricus” sign, raising both hands upward, while vibrating and saying:

“SHADDAI EL CHAI. Yehovah, almighty and eternal God. May Your name live forever. May it be exalted in the life of all. Amen.”

Fourth direction: North

• In the north, draw the invoking pentagram of passive Spirit

while vibrating:

NANTA

(pronounced “een-ah-en-tah”)

• Draw the symbol of Spirit while vibrating:

AGLA

• Give the L-V-X signs,

then draw the invoking pentagram of Earth in green light

while vibrating:

MOR DIAL HCTGA

(pronounced “em-or dee-al hek-teh-gah”)

• Draw the sign of Taurus in shining black while vibrating:

ADONAI

• Give the “Zelator” sign, extending the left hand forward and, on completion, returning it to the mouth as in the sign of silence, while vibrating and saying:

“ADONAI HA-ARETZ. Adonai, Yours are the kingdom, the power, and the glory. The Rose of Sharon and the lilies of the valley. Amen.”

Stand in the center of the circle, or immediately west of the altar, facing east.

• Feel the strength and balance among the elemental forces.

• Vibrate the following divine names and recite the following prayer:

YEHESHUAH, YEHOVASHAH.

Yours is Fire with its glowing flame!

Yours is Water with its ebb and flow!

Yours is Air with its movement!

Yours is Earth with its enduring stability!

And You are within all things, just as all things are within You! Amen.
