The invocation of the Sun (Sundays only)

Face the direction of the planet, the Sun.

2. Draw the golden invoking hexagram

while vibrating the sacred word:

ARARITA (Ararita)

3. As you pronounce the last syllable, strike the center of the hexagram and visualize it bursting into golden flame, charged with the name of God.

4. Then draw the symbol of Sol in the center of the hexagram in orange light while vibrating the name:

IAO (ee-ah-oh)

5. Repeat the vibrations three more times, alternating them, to invoke the planet using the names of God.

Feel the balanced, radiant energy of the Sun enter your circle, filling it and filling you.

Say: “O center of light in the midst of creation, I call upon You in Your welcoming presence.

Let a ray of the One Life descend upon me, causing the rose to blossom upon the cross.”

8. Pause, face east, and contemplate the radiant qualities of the Sun for a few moments before continuing.

Stand facing east and raise your arms in a cross: “Abbu… Fan… Ibsikis… Horis… Ippi!”
Draw a flaming inverted pentagram in the east and vibrate “Therion”.
To the south: a star, and vibrate “Nox”.
To the west: a star, and vibrate “Babalon”.
To the north: a star, and vibrate “Kaus”.
Return to the center, open your arms in a V, and vibrate “Iao” three times.

Perform the Lux cross:
Represent yourself as Osiris slain, with arms in a cross.
Isis mourning: right arm raised, left arm lowered, head tilted.
Apophis-Typhon: arms in a V.
Osiris risen: arms crossed over the chest. Pronounce the letters “Lam… Vav… Ks”, extending your arms in a cross one final time.

Facing east, draw an invoking heptagram of the Sun: begin at the top point and move to the lower right point… complete the seven-pointed star.
While drawing, vibrate “Aram Irataya” three times.
In the heart of the star, visualize drawing the solar symbol ⚝ in gold.
